Add a CommentI had just started to read this when the Boston Marathon bombing occurred. Not just a clever plot, I could not help but see parallels between real life and fiction. Excellent writing, taut and fast-paced.
A well-done plot with lots of twists. Very realistic. Kept my interest till the end. Can't wait for another in this new series.
I enjoyed the book after about halfway. To those who thought this was a page-turner, please read Eye of the Needle and Day of the Jackal which really are much more exciting. Just my opinion.
WOW, this is a book that once opened you just can't put it down. Always alittle something new Wolf inserts for you to pick up on. Keeps the reader guessing.
This fairly-good first suspense thriller set in NYC has as its topic terrorism as expressed in plane hijacking. The characters are believable and the author, a Californian, has his NYC geography for the most part accurate. It is distracting, however, that characters are continually identified with their employment title "flight attendant Maggie" "cellist Nouvain" as if the reader could not keep track of who's who. The plot is clever.
Fast moving, well written page-turner. Cann't wait for the next JEREMY FISK NOVEL.
Well written, fast paced, superb read. Excellent story which would make a fabulous movie.
